The CMP Fix Hood is a padded jacket with geometric seams and padding made of synthetic "Feel Warm Flock" fiber with insulating properties, lightweight and low bulk. A water-repellent treatment on the outside offers protection in light rain.

There is an elasticated waistband on the hood, cuffs and hem to improve the fit of the garment. The jacket also has two zipped side pockets.
