Product details: Atomic Backland XTD Carbon 120 Ski Touring Boots Black / Silver Men
With the Atomic Backland XTD Carbon 120, ski tourers get a versatile hybrid touring boot that combines powerful downhill performance with high climbing efficiency.
The Atomic Backland XTD Carbon 120 is a versatile, all-around ski touring boot with a stiff flex that delivers powerful downhill performance while mastering any ascent. The 100-mm last in a medium width is designed to powerfully control wider touring skis and ski efficiently—it allows the foot to move naturally while providing a secure, powerful hold.
Thanks to Prolite technology with a slim profile that wraps around the foot and reinforces key areas for powerful energy transfer, this lightweight, durable backcountry touring boot offers the greatest versatility in the Backland series. The Hybrid Overlap shell with an open cuff makes it easy to get in and out, and the Cross Lace 2.5 Z-cable closure system ensures a first-class fit.
Memory Fit allows for fully customizable adjustment of the shell, cuff, and liner, and the breathable, washable, PVC-free 3D Platinum Tour Liner ensures a comfortable microclimate. A full-length rubber touring sole is compatible with Atomic Shift as well as all MN, MNC, and pin bindings. A 74° cuff rotation ensures natural freedom of movement.

Technology:
Prolite
Prolite represents a revolutionary approach to ski boot construction. It is based on a thin profile with structural reinforcements integrated where support and stability are needed. For even better power transfer to the ski.
Memory Fit
Atomic Memory Fit is one of the fastest thermal ski boot adjustment technologies available when the foot is wider than the shell. All three elements—shell, cuff, and liner—can be precisely adjusted to fit the foot. The boot can be expanded by up to 6 mm in the forefoot area and up to 10 mm around the ankle.
Hybrid Overlap
An open-toe shell construction with partial overlap that improves entry and exit as well as the fit on the foot.
Cross Lace 2.5
A more powerful Z-cable lacing system developed specifically for the Backland XTD’s Hybrid Overlap.
