Lightweight and durable, the Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR is an all-around touring binding for dedicated backcountry skiers who crave adventure in any terrain.

Unique to the binding is the Release Value Adjustment, which offers release values up to 12 for confidence-inspiring operation, superior safety and performance. The AutoFlex System features a spring in the heel mechanism that automatically provides 5 mm of tip to heel clearance during the swing arc.

The result is an easy-to-use binding that supports natural ski flex with its elasticity while increasing cushioning and safety. The patented entry aid guides the ski boot perfectly into position, while the ascent aid can be adjusted to 0°, 7° or 13° with a simple movement of the ski pole. The touring brakes feature a unique locking system that easily switches from hiking to skiing mode.

The Alu/PA Pin Toe and Heel are made of a high performance PA Fabrics reinforced with fiberglass to keep the binding lightweight for the ascent, but stable and reliable for the descent.
