The ultra-light Atomic Backland 86 UL is ideal for fast and easy tours and utilises the All-Terrain profile to deliver the lightest performance of any Atomic ski in the 86 mm waist width category.

As a result of intensive testing and research, the redesigned core construction utilises a unique ratio of wood to fibreglass for lighter, more efficient ascents and stronger downhill performance. The ski features an Ultra Light Woodcore made from poplar and caruba, and incorporates an ultra-light carbon insert that runs the full length of the ski, acting as a stabilising backbone – creating the perfect balance between low weight and optimal power.

Perfect for powder, piste and everything in between: The lightweight HRZN 3D tip uses a thin, perforated material to increase the surface area – for better float in deeper snow and a low swing weight. The All Mountain Rocker ensures an early rise at the tip, resulting in a ski profile that’s suitable for both on-piste and off-piste skiing. A recess at the tip ensures compatibility with Atomic PreFit skins.
