The Atomic Backland 85 W is your all-round touring ski for adventures across the entire mountain.

It offers the perfect mix of low weight, climbing efficiency, and strong alpine performance. Its new construction is based on the original Backland W, with an eco-friendlier design optimized through a scientific life cycle assessment. By using more raw materials with lower CO2 emissions — more poplar wood, but less fiberglass and resin, as well as waste-reducing sidewalls — CO2-equivalent emissions (compared to the Backland 85 from 2021) have been reduced by 30%.

The All-Terrain Profile guarantees additional torsional stiffness and an improved flex pattern — for top alpine performance in any terrain. HRZN 3D, a development of the successful first generation of HRZN Tech, features a beveled tip for better flotation in powder. With the Atomic Backland 85 W, you’re ready for your next adventure.
