The ultra-light Atomic Backland 80 UL has been designed to help you beat your personal bests and tackle huge elevation gains – it’s perfect for fast and easy ski touring.

The all-terrain profile utilises a unique ratio of wood to fibreglass to create a ski shape that makes ascents easier and improves downhill performance on harder snow surfaces. The ski features an Ultra Light Woodcore made from poplar and caruba, and also incorporates an ultra-light carbon insert that runs the full length of the ski, acting as a stabilising backbone – creating the perfect balance between low weight and optimal power transfer.

The lightweight HRZN 3D tip uses a thin, perforated material to increase the surface area – for better float in deeper snow and a lower swing weight. The Atomic Backland 80 UL’s All Mountain Rocker ensures an early rise at the tip, resulting in easier, more versatile handling. The recess at the tip allows for quick attachment of special Atomic PreFit skins.
