The binding was designed to combine reliable performance with maximum user-friendliness. Features such as the Glass Fiber Composite Toe Piece, the AP Brake System, the Cam Release System, and the Elastic Response System ensure a successful blend of comfort and performance.

The toe piece features a glass fiber composite construction based on a touring design similar to the Crest. This design prevents snow buildup under the joints, ensuring consistent performance and a lower risk of accidental releases. The Easy Entry System allows for particularly quick and easy entry when you need to move fast. The Magneto Heel Flaps provide additional comfort during ascents—two thoughtfully designed climbing aids that can be easily operated with a pole thanks to a magnetic mechanism. Additionally, there is an integrated but removable crampon mount.

The rear plate features the AP Brake System, which allows you to easily switch between ascent and descent modes by turning the binding head while the pedal is pressed—without the need for a side button. A length adjustment of up to 50 mm makes the binding particularly flexible. Both the lateral and vertical release values are adjustable.

The Cam Release System, a patented ATK system, ensures effortless entry while offering high torsional stiffness. This is complemented by the Elastic Response System, which enables precise releases and supports the ski’s natural flex movement, improving downhill performance.

Cam Release System
The Cam Release System controls entry and vertical release in the event of a fall. A special cam profile is pushed toward the heel pins by a pre-tensioned spring: During entry or release, the pins are forced to follow the cam profile, ensuring a precise release.

Elastic Response System
Under load, skis bend and compress. Under these conditions, thanks to the Elastic Response System, the rear jaw can slide toward the end and reposition itself as soon as normal conditions are restored.

AP Ski Brake
The new patented system from ATK: simply press the pedal and turn the heel piece to lock the ski brake. Activated by a simple movement, this mechanism guarantees safe use while improving the binding’s responsiveness.
