Product details: Amundsen Peak Ski Jacket Weathered Red Women
The Amundsen Peak Jacket is no ordinary outdoor piece – it's the result of a decade of intensive testing under the most extreme conditions. Originally developed for Amundsen's 2011 Antarctic expedition and worn on the first ascent of Amundsen Peak, this anorak quickly became an icon of their winter collection.
Made from a highly functional 4-way stretch 3-layer fabric from Schoeller (Switzerland), the jacket combines uncompromising weather protection with excellent freedom of movement. The integrated c_change® membrane reacts dynamically to temperature and activity – for an ideal body climate in any weather. With a water column of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 18,000 g/m²/24h, the Peak Jacket keeps you dry and efficient – even on demanding tours. Waterproof zippers, fully taped seams, and a helmet-compatible 3-point hood complete the protective package.
Cleverly designed – ready for the mountain. The generous chest pocket guarantees quick access to essentials, and two front zip pockets are conveniently positioned for a backpack. The side vents also provide easy entry. A ski pass pocket is located on the left sleeve, and hook-and-loop fasteners at the cuffs ensure a custom fit.
Whether ski touring, freeriding, or base camp – the Amundsen Peak Jacket represents technical sophistication that proves just as effective in extreme cold as it does on athletic ascents. A classic, born at the edge of the world – made for your next adventure.
