The YY Vertical Board Light is a training board for climbing beginners looking to start targeted finger and grip strength training. Deep, rounded holds provide an accessible introduction to hanging exercises and allow training intensity to be increased gradually.

Edges with depths of 20, 25 and 45 mm, a central 40 mm hold, two slopers at 20° and 30°, and two large holds provide different options for hangs, lock-offs and pull-ups. The central notch can be used with a resistance band for assistance. To increase the difficulty as training progresses, the board is compatible with separately available YY Vertical -10 mm magnetic inserts.

The board is made from untreated, finely sanded poplar wood with rounded grip edges.
