The Völkl Rise Up 82 is a lightweight touring ski designed for efficient ascents and reliable descents. Its 3D radius sidecut, multi-layer wood core and full sidewall ensure stable handling, precise control and versatile performance in the backcountry.

If your main priority is the ascent but you’re still looking for a ski with good downhill performance, the Rise Up 82 is the perfect choice. For the first time, Völkl has incorporated the 3D Radius sidecut – derived from freeride and all-mountain skis such as the Mantra and the Peregrine – into a touring ski.

This construction combines three different radii that are seamlessly connected across the entire length of the ski. This means that the turning behaviour adapts to the dominant waist radius depending on the edge angle. The result is a smooth ride at high speeds and a lack of instability, even in challenging off-piste conditions.

A multi-layered wood core makes the ski incredibly light whilst still ensuring reliable downhill performance. A full-length sidewall gives the ski stability and durability.

The Völkl Rise Up 82 naturally also features the Smart Skin Clip System, which is compatible with both Tech Fibre and Smart Glue skins.
