With the Völkl Revolt 96, you get a versatile freestyle ski that offers a dynamic, stable and playful ride for the park, the piste and creative lines.

The development of the ski was a process spanning several years involving various athletes, and was finalised in collaboration with the Norwegian Øysten Braten and the Völkl Freestyle Team led by Tom Ritsch from Austria. The result is impressive in every respect. This tip-and-tail rocker ski, featuring a new, modern sidecut, is equipped with reinforced edges and modified flex zones designed for use in urban playgrounds or the park. Whether it’s the banister behind the house, the rail in the park or the kicker next to the piste, the Revolt 96 gives you enough pop and stability on take-off to take your riding to the next level.

Naturally, the Revolt 96 also features the tried-and-tested 3D Radius sidecut and a full-length sidewall for optimum performance on hard, groomed surfaces. The ski is available in four lengths ranging from 157 to an impressive 181 cm, ensuring that even taller or heavier riders can find the right model for them.

Multilayer Woodcore 1
The sidewall continues into the interior of the ski in the form of extremely stable layers of wood bonded directly to the flanks of the sandwich core. Combined with a more flexible, lighter wood in the centre of the sandwich core, this construction offers numerous advantages: the hardwood section within the sidewall ensures increased power transfer, contributes to better edge grip and supports the edge when subjected to external forces. The softwood section in the centre of the ski, thanks to its lower weight, provides greater agility and manoeuvrability. The combination of both types of wood across the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal distribution of stiffness and enables more precise ski control. This construction offers highly competitive skiers a combination of manoeuvrability and stability, which can make the difference in those crucial hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.

3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum responsiveness and speed in all-mountain conditions. Wider radius at the tip and tail – the wider radii at the tip and tail are ideal for wide turns and high speeds. Easy control and manoeuvrability. Less edge catch. No restriction on turn radii and easy exit from turns. Tight turn radius – the tight radius in the middle favours tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation. Super responsive. Effortless and smooth in tight turns.

Full sidewall construction with overlapping mini cap for optimum durability.

Base P-Tex 2100
Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good gliding properties.

Characteristics: Rocker only at the tip and tail, camber in the binding area.
