With the Völkl Revolt 86, you’ll experience a light and playful freestyle ski that offers plenty of control, agility and fun in the park.

Developed in collaboration with Olympic Big Air champion Birk Ruud, the Revolt 86 has been fine-tuned with a race base to make the ski as fast as possible. The wood core is lighter as it’s made from bamboo, the world’s fastest-growing wood.

The Revolt has a width of 86 mm under the binding and is a twin-tip with tip and tail rockers, perfect for budding freestylers shredding in the park. The Butter Zone allows for smooth transitions between switch stances. Its Tough Box construction gives the ski just the right amount of pop and makes it manoeuvrable in turns.

Bamboo wood core
This ski is built around a lightweight bamboo wood core and offers an energetic, responsive ride that feels quick and lively underfoot, from edge to edge. The bamboo construction ensures an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and delivers the necessary pop for jumps, presses and playful turns, without adding unnecessary weight. Whether you’re doing laps in the park or exploring the whole mountain – the bamboo wood core ensures the ski remains durable and manoeuvrable, whilst always responding reliably.

Centre Sidewall
Combined with the super-slim 3D.Ridge construction, the partial sidewall in the centre of the ski ensures direct and very solid power transfer.

Base P-Tex 4504
Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with extremely high density. P-Tex 4504 is not only particularly wear-resistant, it also offers the best wax absorption and is extremely fast. At Völkl, this base is used exclusively on our top-of-the-range models and racing skis. The material composition has been enhanced with special additives. This results in thermal and electrical conductivity that consistently achieves top marks in terms of glide and speed performance.
