Völkl Blaze - The Junior Free-Tourer for the best days off-piste.

The Blaze Junior - together with the Rise Junior - is the first junior ski with 3D Radius Sidecut and a real freeride touring secret tip for the youngsters. In fact, with the right touring binding, the ski is also ideal for occasional ski tours. Skins that have already been cut to fit are also available.

Basically, however, the extremely versatile junior ski cuts a fine figure both on and off the slopes. The ski copes with the most diverse types of terrain, and turns can be made safely even in choppy or compact snow.

In general, the Blaze JR impresses with its enormous manoeuvrability, especially in narrow terrain or forest passages. Thanks to the Tip & Tail Rocker, it requires very little power to release the turn, even at moderate speeds. If you then let it run, it retains a high degree of smoothness and directional stability even at top speed in wider radii.

Multilayer Woodcore:

The sidewall consists of stable wood layers on the flanks of the core and continues inside the ski. The combination with lighter wood in the middle brings numerous advantages: The hardwood content in the sidewall improves power transmission, edge grip and protects the edge.

The lighter softwood in the middle provides agility and manoeuvrability. The combination of both types of wood over the entire length of the ski optimises stiffness distribution and enables precise ski control. This construction offers performance-oriented skiers a combination of agility and stability for decisive seconds.

Full Sidewall
The sidewall along the entire length of the ski ensures direct and best possible power transmission. The wider radii in tip and tail are ideal for long turns and high speed. Easy control and manoeuvrability, less clipping, no restriction on turn radius and easy exit from the turn, narrow inside radius.

Tight centre radius favours tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation, super nippy, effortless and smooth in tight turns.
