Product details: Völkl Blaze 82 23/24 Skis Women
Völkl Blaze 82 Ski - Super light, agile and resource efficient women's all-mountain freeride ski. The women's version of the new Blaze 82 with the W in the name is a super light and agile all-mountain freeride ski for ambitious beginners.
They benefit from the Blaze 82 W's low weight and high performance. Cruising the slopes is the philosophy of this ski. The relatively narrow waist width combined with the 3D Radius Sidecut allows for a sporty, agile style of skiing, while at the same time ensuring that the Blaze can be turned with little effort, even at moderate speeds.
The harmonious ride is further enhanced by the Blaze's Suspension Tips & Tails. Inserts of elastic fabric dampen contact with the snow at the tips of the skis and act like a bumper, especially in changing snow conditions.
The Völkl Blaze 82 W is also a real recommendation for the occasional ski tour. Equipped with a suitable binding, the ski can also be used as a touring freerider. And thanks to its low weight, even the ascent is no problem.
Features:
Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: rockered only in the shovel and tail area, preload in the binding area.
3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning ability and speed in all-mountain use: wide radius in the shovel and tail.
Full Sidewall
The sidewall over the entire length of the ski ensures direct and best possible power transmission. The wider radius in tip and tail is ideal for long turns and high speed. Easy control and maneuverability, less blending, no restriction on turn radius and easy exit from the turn, tight inside radius.
Tight center radius favors tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation, super nippy, effortless and smooth in tight turns.
Suspension Tips & Tails
Inserts of elastic, rubber-like Fabrics on the edges of the tip and tail. In windblown or tracked snow, they act like a bumper. Their dampening elasticity provides better resistance to disturbance and supportive lift.
Multilayer Woodcore Light
Combining light softwood (poplar) and heavy hardwood (beech) creates a compromise of light weight, strength, durability, and cushioning. Beech wood is used in high-force areas of the ski: under the binding, along the edges and sidewalls.
Slots in the wood core reduce weight and optimize the flex pattern for more pliability in the center. The number of slots varies depending on the target group.
