Völkl Blaze 114 Ski - The ultimate sustainable freeride adventure! To put it in a nutshell: The Blaze 114 is as wide as its range of use, and the grin on your face - very wide!

It is also produced in an environmentally friendly way. Völkl uses a recycled base and only FSC-certified wood in combination with the new Green Core technology. The Isocore in the middle of the wood core is made of recycled PET bottles instead of conventional PU foam.

In terms of riding technology, the Blaze 114 shines off-piste. Its efficient weight/performance ratio makes it a great freeride touring ski. But it really turns up the heat on the descent. The relatively narrow turning radius of 18 m on a 192 cm ski creates a turning ability that is unprecedented in this category. This is further enhanced by an open radius at the tip and tail in combination with a tip & tail rocker. 

The Völkl Blaze 114 is designed so that the flex increases with length, so that taller or heavier skiers get the same performance as shorter or lighter skiers.

3D Radius Sidecut:
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning ability and speed in all-mountain use: wide radius in the shovel and tail.

Full Sidewall
The sidewall along the entire length of the ski ensures direct and best possible power transmission. The wider radius in tip and tail is ideal for long turns and high speed. Easy control and manoeuvrability, less blending, no restriction on turn radius and easy exit from the turn, tight inside radius.

Tight center radius favors tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation, super nippy, effortless and smooth in tight turns.

Titanal Binding Platform
A 0.3 mm thin titanal sheet provides the necessary strength in the binding area. The binding screws thus show the proven reliability of a metal ski, even in the toughest use.

Suspension Tips & Tails
Inserts of elastic, rubber-like Fabrics on the edges of the tip and tail. In wind-blown or tracked snow, they act like a bumper. With their dampening elasticity, they provide better resistance to disturbance and supportive lift.
