Product details: Völkl Blaze 114 24/25 Skis
The Blaze 114 is as versatile as its field of application. It is also produced in an environmentally friendly way. Völkl uses a recycled base and FSC-certified wood in combination with Green Core technology.
The Isocore inside the wood core is made from recycled PET bottles instead of conventional PU foam. In terms of riding performance, the Blaze 114 is predestined for off-piste adventures. Thanks to its efficient weight/performance ratio, it is also well suited as a freeride touring ski. It really comes to life on the descent. The tight 18 m radius in relation to the ski length of 192 cm ensures unprecedented maneuverability in this category. This is supported by an open radius at the tip and tail in combination with tip & tail rocker.
The 3D Radius Sidecut in the middle of the ski has been fitted with a 0.3 mm thin Titanal plate directly above the sidewall to ensure smooth running at high speeds. This allows the ski to be steered very precisely. These handling characteristics also work very well for occasional piste skiing! In order to keep the all-mountain ski agile, no Titanal is used in the outer area at the front and rear. The Blaze is designed with increasing flex in relation to the ski length, so that taller or heavier skiers benefit from the same handling characteristics as shorter or lighter skiers with shorter ski lengths.
