The Blaze 104 is a lightweight, maneuverable powder ski with 104 mm width underfoot, available in four lengths for the ultimate freeride experience.

Maneuverability was at the forefront of its design. The thin Titanal binding platform underfoot concentrates power with minimal effort for an incredibly smooth and dynamic turning experience, right out of the gate. In tight terrain and rough conditions, the response time is impressive, especially for a ski with deep snow width.

The full-length Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore/Green Core and overall construction are aimed at short-turn oriented skiers, but the 4 Radius Drive Sidecut technology adapts to almost any skiing style. The Blaze 104 can not only be skied in the resort, but is also ideal as a freeride touring ski due to its light weight and power.

With the additional Suspension Tip, a rubber-like, shock-absorbing material on the tip and tail edges, the Blaze 104 skis effortlessly through powder snow, slush and windswept snow. This ski offers a wide range of uses and is ideal for skiers looking for maximum performance and fun in all conditions.

Technology

4 Radius Drive
A Völkl innovation not yet offered by any other manufacturer. With this technology, Völkl sets a new benchmark for the ability to vary the turn radius and combine easy handling with rock-solid stability. This new design provides maximum versatility for various snow conditions both on piste and off piste, increased stability on hard surfaces, and improved performance on soft snow.

Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore
A particularly light and complex wood core specially developed for touring skis. In the area around the steel edges, a poplar wood hand-picked by weight provides the necessary stability, while in the center of the ski, the soft and light Paulownia wood ensures the ski's flexibility. In the binding area beech wood provides the strength, which is needed to hold the screws of the binding. In the center of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore area contributes to optimal liveliness and dynamic development. Only the lightest batch of each wood delivery makes it into these cores.

Base P-Tex 2100
A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.

Titanal Binding Platform
A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions.

Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle

Suspension Tips & Tails
Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float.

3D.GLASS
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
