The large platform (113x99 mm) and 40 Tatze pins on the Link pedal from Tatze ensure enormous grip and a good connection between pedal and shoe. To further increase the grip of the flat pedal and maximise the contact surface, an additional 4 pins can be screwed in on each side.

The Tatze Link avoids unwanted ground contact thanks to its extremely thin design, so the pedal body is only 8.8mm on the exposed outer edge, making the Link one of the thinnest pedals on the market. The open design allows dirt to fall through the pedal and makes the pedal lightweight at only 343g.

The Link has high-quality bearings, using an IGUS JSM plain bearing and 2 ball bearings. Two double lip sealing rings are installed for sealing, which protect the pedal bearings from dirt and moisture.

The bearing and sealing unit makes the pedal sustainable in terms of a long service life. In addition, bearings and seals can be replaced in 5 minutes using the optionally available refresh kit to set the clock back to 0.
