The Salomon S/LAB QST Echo combines touring-ready lightness with the DNA of a true freeride classic – offering powerful uphill performance and full downhill control.

With a 106 mm waist, Salomon’s S/LAB QST Echo is the touring version of the iconic QST 106. Built with a Karuba/Poplar core, ultra-light basalt fibers, and a Cork Damplifier, this model is a lightweight, dynamic backcountry ski that thrives in all conditions.

A featherlight Karuba/Poplar woodcore paired with basalt fibers delivers a lightweight construction that excels on the climb. Cork Damplifier in the tip and tail, combined with basalt fibers, ensures high-speed stability, while the Karuba/Poplar core provides a lively and responsive ride. The Salomon S/LAB QST Echo features at least 30% recycled materials in the topsheet and 100% recycled ABS in the double sidewalls to minimize environmental impact.

Full Sandwich Sidewalls
Full sandwich sidewalls provide enhanced stability and precision. This construction improves performance with excellent edge grip and smooth snow contact.

Karuba/Poplar Full Woodcore
The woodcore combines poplar and Karuba. Karuba ensures lightweight responsiveness and durability.

Ti Binding Reinforcement
A full-width Titanal insert beneath the binding for maximum power transmission and improved edge grip on hard snow. Reinforced with basalt and fiberglass.

Cork Damplifier
Cork offers three times the vibration absorption of Koroyd. Integrated into the tip of the ski, it delivers a high level of damping at a lower weight.

Freeride Profile
A medium camber provides solid grip on firm snow, while a long, progressive rocker in the tip and tail enhances float in soft snow.
