The Ortles Hybrid Insulation Jacket by Salewa is a warm, windproof and water-repellent children's hybrid jacket with Tirolwool Responsive insulation. The close-fitting jacket is a favorite of the Salewa athletic team. It has durable Durastretch inserts on the sleeves and sides that have proven themselves in alpine use - yet feels soft and comfortable.

Kids like to alternate between running and standing still, then complain they're too cold one minute and too hot the next.... Intense physical activity followed by periods of rest can put you at risk of hypothermia. The Ortles Hybrid Thermoregulating Insulated Jacket is designed to meet the specific upper body insulation needs that children have during highly dynamic activities on colder days.

The lightweight Tirolwool Responsive insulation combines polyester fibers enriched with thermoreactive minerals with wool from Tyrolean sheep. Heat released from the body is absorbed by the Ortles Hybrid Jacket and converted into infrared energy, which is stored and reflected back - keeping kids warmer longer. In addition, Salewa's Tirolwool Responsive is water repellent, breathable and keeps kids warm even when their jacket is soaking wet.
