The Platypus Daycap In-bottle is a water bottle cap that turns your favourite wide-mouth bottle into a fast-flowing, ready-to-use water filter.

For those who want to travel with the easiest water filtration, Platypus have designed the DayCap to easily fit three of the most popular wide mouth bottles. It transforms them into quick, safe and incredibly simple water filters.

• Particularly compatible: Optimised for Nalgene bottles with a wide opening, Hydro Flask bottles with a wide opening and Yeti Yonder bottles.
• Practical design: With a drinking opening that is optimised for the flow of water through the filter. The bottle only needs to be lifted and tilted as usual.
• High-quality construction: The TPE moulded construction is durable and complements the quality of the bottle used.
• Proven filter function: The hollow fibre filter media have the same technology as a most popular and proven filters. They filter up to 1 litre of water per minute.
• Easy cleaning: Cleaning and breaking up particles and restoring the flow rate is done by simply shaking the bottle fitted with the DayCap.
• Safe and effective: Each filter is individually tested and meets all EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% bacteria and 99.9% protozoa (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella and Cholera).
• Sophisticated design: The filter can be removed with a simple half turn so that the lid can be used separately. The shape of the spout is optimised for drinking and pouring. The semi-flexible carrying loop can also be used for hanging.
