The Patagonia R1 is a lightweight and breathable men's fleece vest designed as a functional midlayer for high-output activities in the mountains. Its hybrid construction combines warmth across the chest and shoulders with high breathability at the back and under the arms.

Stretchy Polartec® Power Grid® fabric allows excellent freedom of movement, while low-profile shoulder seams improve comfort when wearing a backpack. A zippered chest pocket keeps small essentials close at hand and features a mesh pocket bag for additional ventilation.
