The Patagonia Down Sweater for men is a lightweight down jacket for mountain tours, travel and versatile outdoor use in cold conditions. Its balanced combination of warmth, low weight and straightforward handling makes it a highly versatile insulation layer that works equally well on its own or beneath a protective shell.

The quilted construction keeps the insulation evenly distributed while allowing good freedom of movement. Two welted zipped handwarmer pockets, a zipped internal chest pocket and two open internal pockets provide an unusually practical amount of storage for such a lightweight jacket. The chest pocket also doubles as a stuffsack and includes a carabiner clip-in loop. An internal storm flap behind the front zip with a chin guard improves comfort, while the included repair patch allows small tears to be fixed quickly on the go.
