The 2.5-layer construction has the water column (min. 20,000 mm) of a hardshell and the lightness and breathability (min. 10,000 g/m² / 24 h) of a wind jacket. On the inside, the membrane is protected from abrasion by the patented Micro Bead structure and while increasing the comfort against your skin at the same time. Tiny, incorporated beads (micro beads) in the structure enable faster moisture absorption and release to the membrane. This creates a dry feeling on the skin.

Features such as the elasticated hem and the chest pocket make the merino hardshell even more functional: the outdoor jacket can be completely stowed in the inner pocket and quickly attaches to your climbing harness thanks to a loop on the inside, or minimally compresses and stores in the backpack.
