The high-quality GORE-TEX® material is used for the jacket because it is the world leader in durable waterproofing (28,000 mm), optimized breathability (RET less than 9) and complete windproofness. The main fabric is a 3-layer, 70D x 160D GORE-TEX® based PFC-free technology (RET less than 9) with a 100% recycled nylon face (152 g/m²). It is reinforced with a 3-layer 200D GORE-TEX® based PFC-free technology (RET less than 9) and equipped with a 100% recycled nylon face fabric (221 g/m²) on the shoulders and elbows, as these areas are more exposed. Both are both recycled and solution dyed, with C-KNIT nylon backing.

The key features and functional elements of the jacket are the helmet-compatible hood with one-hand adjustment, chest pocket, two zipped lower pockets with flaps, zipped sleeve pocket, one inner zipped pocket, inner mesh pocket for oversized items, a supple fleece chin guard, one-handed hem adjustment, a detachable powder skirt and laminated woven hand gaiters. You will find a suitable cloth in the inside pocket for cleaning your glasses and sunglasses. Reinforcements have been added to the elbows and shoulders.

The preformed sleeves also ensure optimal freedom of movement, while the X-open underarm ventilation with waterproof YKK® zips and the front chest ventilation with waterproof YKK® zip and mesh ensure a balanced body climate.
