The radical Duke PT 16 (DIN 6-16) is the crowning glory of the Royal Family. It combines the outstanding downhill and functional performance of a Jester with the ascent comfort of a pin binding.

The latest generation of the Inter Pivot 3 freeride heel with magnesium housing at the rear and the Ride & Hike Toe at the front. For the ascent, the upper part of the toe piece is folded forwards, exposing the pin-din binding. To save unnecessary weight, the toe piece can be removed and stowed in the rucksack.

The multifunctional Lock & Walk unit automatically locks the brake and offers a 10° climbing aid. Before setting off, the toe piece is simply locked again and the function of a classic toe piece is activated. With a stand height of just 24 mm, direct power transmission and fast edge changes are a matter of course. Thanks to MultiNorm, the Duke PT is compatible with alpine, touring and GripWalk soles.

With a Z-value of 6.0 to 16.0, the binding is suitable for skiers weighing up to 120 kg. It weighs 1050 g on the ascent and 1350 g on the descent, perfect for freeride enthusiasts looking for maximum performance and flexibility.

Technology

INTER PIVOT 3 FREERIDE HEEL:
The third and newest generation completely redone: improved power transimission, energy absorption and vertical heel elasticity combined with an improved step in comfort.

GLIDING AFD:
All MARKER bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) leading to a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

MAGNESIUM PARTS ROYAL FAMILY:
Magnesium sole holders in the toe combined with a magnesium heel housing provide the solid construction for the hardest charging freeride athletes.

RIDE & HIKE TOE:
Great Royal Family downhill performance and release function combined with pin-technology for strong uphill performance.
For walking mode the upper part is simply unlocked and tilted forward, uncovering the pin binding. Thanks to this convertible toe 300g per foot can be saved for the ascent.

AUTO QUAD LOCK:
Toe part locks itself at 4 different points automatically when stepping into the binding

LOCK & WALK BRAKE:
The multi functional Lock & Walk unit automatically locks the brakes and provides a 10° climbing aid. For downhill mode the front jaw section is clicked back onto the base plate, quadruple secured by the Auto Quad Lock technology. Now the toe piece works just like an alpine toe with all of its advantages!

ANTI ICE RAIL:
Use the metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole.
