The trousers are made from a robust and particularly abrasion-resistant softshell fabric, making them wind-repellent and breathable at the same time. Thanks to the elastic properties, you can move freely in any situation, which is particularly helpful when climbing and mountaineering. 

To ensure you don't lose your valuables while climbing, Mammut has equipped each pocket of the Taiss trousers with a zipper. All these pockets are of course climbing harness compatible.
