With the Defender EPP, LACD presents an ultra-light climbing helmet with a high-quality in-mold construction. The climbing helmet weighs an incredible 189 g in size S/M, which is roughly equivalent to the weight of two average express sets. In contrast to many other climbing helmets with a hard shell, the ultra-light in-mold construction is only about half as heavy. At the same time, climbers and mountaineers do not have to fear any compromises in terms of safety and comfort when sport climbing, ice climbing and mountaineering. Due to its low weight, the attached Defender EPP is hardly noticeable on the head. The LACD climbing helmet can be optimally adjusted using the twist lock at the back of the head and soft straps with a buckle, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. The additional padding on the inside provides extra comfort and can be removed separately for cleaning. Generous ventilation openings (14 pieces) and practical fastening clips for the headlamp complete this sporty ultralight helmet.
