Technology
Apart from the wood core, the patented Hollowtech forms the art of Kästle technological components.
The basic idea: removing unnecessary layers in the front of the ski to make the whole thing lighter. Therefore, the ski becomes up to 30 % damper, feels more stable, provides a more powerful edge-grip, and more precise steering, all at a lower weight.
The HOOK FREE TAIL is often combined with a Double Rocker and a longer tail, with the contact point being moved toward the center of the ski. The result is a forgiving, playful performance when exiting a turn.
The HOOK FREE SHOVEL is a longer shovel that is often combined with a Rocker. With this design the contact point to the snow is moved toward the center of the ski, thus ensuring a more forgiving and playful performance.
