The basic idea: unnecessary layers are left out at the front of the ski, making the shovel lighter. The result is faster return behaviour, smoother running, maximum edge grip, more precise steering and, last but not least, reduced weight.

The HOOK FREE SHOVEL is a longer shovel that is often combined with a rocker. This shifts the contact point with the snow further towards the centre of the ski, ensuring a forgiving, playful turn-in behaviour.

The FAST GRIP TAIL is a short ski tail, with the contact point and the widest point of the ski tail widest point of the ski tail are far back. This results in a more aggressive, direct exit from the turn.
