The Carbon Pagoda Tour CFL skis are synonymous with high-performance backcountry skiing and are now reaching new heights in the touring category with new construction updates. 
When DPS started developing these skis, they focused on the uncompromising goals: Durability, performance and sustainability.

To achieve these goals at the highest level, DPS have developed a unique new Carbon Flax Laminate (CFL) that reduces torsional vibrations while maintaining the renowned carbon energy and long-term durability. It is a unique high performance woven fibre laminate that demonstrates the potential of embedding flax fibres into pure carbon construction.

DPS have also switched to bio-based entropy epoxy resin (25%) and incorporated Checkerspot Algal sidewall technology (~60% bio-based). These changes have reduced the carbon footprint and accelerated the journey towards more sustainable skis

PHANTOM Glide was developed by dps Ski in 2016 with the idea of creating an environmentally friendly alternative to wax that ensures gliding properties over the entire product life cycle of skis and snowboards.

- PHANTOM Glide is only applied once to ski and snowboard bases and permanently changes their structure. 
- The gliding ability in the snow is maintained in changing conditions and temperatures.
