The Deuter Trail 28 SL is a women's hiking backpack designed for demanding hikes, mountain tours and via ferrata routes. Its women-specific SL carrying system is tailored to the female anatomy, while the close-fitting design gives you stability and freedom of movement when the terrain becomes steeper and more technical.

The Airstripes back system combines a reduced contact surface with large ventilation channels and breathable mesh material. This allows air to circulate freely across a large part of the back while keeping the backpack snug and stable during dynamic movement. Movable, ergonomically shaped Active Fit shoulder straps adapt to your movements and complement the close-fitting carrying system.

The Trail 28 SL also shows its mountain-focused character on via ferrata routes. Attachment points on the shoulder straps keep the carabiners of your via ferrata set within easy reach, while the flat lid construction leaves sufficient headroom when wearing a helmet. This keeps your equipment readily accessible and lets you move freely through demanding sections.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
