The Deuter Futura 29 EL backpack is a versatile companion that offers comfort and functionality with its slim design, ergonomic carrying system and generous storage space. Thanks to the ventilated back system, it is perfect for hikes, excursions and everyday use.

The Aircomfort back system is super comfortable and ensures maximum ventilation on the back with mesh. This means up to 25% less sweating and therefore higher performance. If your clothes do get wet, they can dry quickly in the elastic and air-permeable front pocket during the hike.

The Futura also impresses in terms of sustainability: the main material of the Deuter Futura series is made of bluesign-certified fabrics, and the backpack is 50 percent recycled.

EL models (Extra Long): the fit for long backs
For tall people, the Deuter Extra Long (EL) backpacks offer perfect carrying comfort! Athletes between 1.85 and 2.00 meters often have a hard time finding a backpack that fits. That's why Deuter has extended the back lengths of the most popular Deuter backpack models by 6–9 cm and adapted them to the proportions of taller people.

Due to the larger space requirements, Deuter has also adjusted the volume of the EL models. The back system, properties, and features of the individual EL backpacks are the same as for the corresponding standard model.
