The Deuter Freescape Tour 40 is a ski touring backpack designed for multi-day tours and demanding alpine adventures with extensive equipment. Its LiteSnow back system provides a close-fitting carry while the snow-resistant back panel fabric helps reduce moisture absorption in winter conditions.

The adaptable pack concept offers generous storage for longer tours. A height-adjustable, removable lid expands the pack volume when needed, while the large U-shaped back opening provides quick and convenient access to the contents without removing attached equipment. A fleece-lined goggle pocket, a zippered hip fin pocket and an external lid pocket complete the well-organized design.
