The CAMP Soft Universal is a piton for alpinism, rock climbing and aid climbing. It is driven into suitable rock cracks to provide a protection or progression point. Its pointed wedge shape fits a variety of crack shapes, while the 45° angled head generates holding power in both vertical and horizontal placements.

The soft carbon steel can adapt to the shape of the crack when driven in and is particularly suitable for softer or brittle rock such as limestone.
