The Alpine Hauler 45 from Blue Ice is a highly innovative backpack made from Aluula fabric for mountaineering and climbing. Ultra-lightweight, extremely durable, ideal for multi-pitch routes and difficult passages. 

With its low weight of less than 600 g for 45L and its extreme robustness, the Alpine Hauler offers the ultimate solution for modern alpine-style climbing. It was developed for high walls and multi-pitch routes and can be hauled up difficult passages, although free climbing with a rucksack remains the main climbing technique.

The entire rucksack is made from Aluula fabric, which is considered to be the next generation of composite materials. It is an HMWPE composite material that offers an eight times higher weight-to-strength ratio than steel, while being lighter than nylon, polyester and aramid.

The Blue Ice Alpine Hauler is the first rucksack of its kind to feature this cutting-edge technology, giving it an unrivalled level of technical sophistication. It also features a 3-point tow system with quick-release fasteners for fast and secure towing. The shoulder straps can be completely stowed away to ensure trouble-free hauling. It has an accessory compartment that is accessible from both the outside and inside of the rucksack, as well as ice axe attachments and a roll-top closure for optimal protection against extreme weather conditions.
