The Blue Ice Akila LT is a lighter, shorter version of the Akila for efficient ski mountaineering, with the same head geometry but a 43 cm shaft that fits easily into a rucksack.

The shaft is cut diagonally at the base so that it can also be used as a support ice axe, and has a hole for attaching a leash. The integrated Tech Pommel provides a lightweight, versatile hand rest for solid grip and control during technically demanding climbing passages.

The hammer version of the Akila LT is also ideal as a third ice axe for summer ascents and a versatile addition to your equipment. Its size and low weight make it ideal for a more compact selection of equipment.
