The Blue Ice Akila Adze ice axe is a first on the market. It is the first type B ice axe to reach such a high technical level in the ultralight class.

The ergonomic shape of the head, made of chromoly steel, has been specially designed for use as an anchor in a wide range of conditions. Its shovel is wide enough to quickly clear snow and place an ice screw. The Akila is rather short (49 cm), ultra-light (330 g) and compact to easily fit in a backpack.

Blue Ice Akila is an ideal tool for climbing and skiing when you want to be fast and light with a very functional and robust ice axe.
