The Birkenstock Arizona EVA is a true classic. Made from high-quality moulded EVA, the Arizona combines a host of positive features: it is very lightweight, highly elastic, waterproof, skin-friendly and offers the familiar Birkenstock comfort.

At the heart of the Birkenstock Arizona EVA is the original Birkenstock footbed. The design, thought through down to the smallest detail and modelled on the natural imprint of a foot in the sand, helps ensure that your feet can spend many hours in the shoes with as little strain as possible. This supports your health and promotes your well-being. The particularly deep moulding in the heel area supports your foot tissue and keeps the heel bone stable in its natural position. As a result, your foot enjoys almost the same level of support as in a closed shoe.

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, exceptionally lightweight, elastic plastic with excellent cushioning properties. This evens out minor unevenness in the ground and gently cushions your steps as you walk.

The arch supports, which run lengthways to the lateral edges of the footbed, encircle the tarsal bones on the inside and outside. This provides your foot with the necessary stability when you take a step. The heel bar activates the calf muscles, stabilises the rearfoot and improves gait and coordination.

The front section of the footbed, in the toe area, features raised sections. Thanks to the toe grips, your toes remain relaxed and spread out in their natural position. The raised sections also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
