Product details: Beal Jammy Sling Violet
Beal Jammy is a 5.5 mm sewn rope sling made with an aramid core and polyamide sheath.
When configured as a friction hitch (Prusik, French prusik, Machard etc.) it can be used with single or half rope, on one or both half ropes.
When to use the Jammy?
• Creating auto-blocking knots (Prusik, Machard)
• Securing rappels
• Quick hauling systems
• Extending a poorly placed anchor point to avoid a lever arm
• Using a natural anchor: shrub, thread
• Possible use as an anchor sling
Made with Technora aramid, the Jammy ensures exceptional strength of 22 kN, even in cases of significant heating due to friction. Its robust construction resists repeated bending, allowing you to perform maneuvers without concern for premature wear. Its heat-shrink sheath protects the stitching and contributes to its incomparable lightness compared to mechanical systems. With a weight of only 20 grams for the 35 cm version, it becomes indispensable for all climbers seeking simplicity.
