With an unrivalled weight of only 68 g, the Fish from Austrialpin is a belay device for single ropes that is extremely easy to use: by pulling on the unique release lever to loosen the rope, you can gently return to solid ground. As an auto-tuber, it locks automatically in the event of a fall without requiring any additional manual force.

The Austrialpin Fish comes with the HMS Rondo Slide Autolock. This carabiner meets all expectations concerning easy handling and tangible safety: Forget inconvenient screwing or turning of the gate! The carabiner can be opened easily by just pushing the embedded brass slider. The gate automatically locks when releasing the slider.

Through the embedded positioning of the button, it’s not possible to open the gate unintendedly. In addition, the "Selfie" twist protection captures the belay loop and keeps the carabiner in place to ensure optimal function of the belay device.
