Topsheet
Augment uses a variety of topsheet materials tailored to the ski’s intended purpose. For touring, the focus is on keeping the surface lightweight yet durable.

Fiberglass laminate
Fiberglass layers are laid out in multiple directions and pre-impregnated with a special resin. This ensures optimal bonding properties and even force distribution throughout the ski. The result is improved torsional stiffness, stability, and responsiveness.

Wood core
The Paulownia wood core strikes an excellent balance between flexibility and stability, leading to better handling and precise control. Special milling techniques further enhance adhesion between the wood and surrounding materials, making the ski even more durable.
