The Atomic Backland 95 is an all-round touring ski built for the entire mountain, striking the perfect balance between lightweight uphill efficiency and wide, stable performance underfoot - so you can confidently follow the lines that catch your eye on the way down.

A reimagined construction of the original Backland, the new ski design reduces CO₂ emissions by 30% through the use of locally sourced poplar wood, reduced fiberglass and resin content, and waste-minimized sidewalls. The result is a lower-impact construction that delivers a lighter, stronger ski with a more responsive feel. Its All-Terrain Profile uses a new ratio of natural wood to fiberglass, which alters the ski's thickness curve and increases torsional stiffness - enhancing climbing performance and boosting downhill control on harder snow surfaces.

The next generation of Atomic’s original HRZN Tech features a uniquely beveled, three-dimensional tip that improves flotation in powder and handling in variable snow conditions.

The R12 family features four different production technologies and 6 ATK patents, on the new Snow Pack Proof system to prevent snow, ice and foreign bodies from entering the front automatic blocking mechanism.

The new ATK patented AP-System: simply press the pedal and rotate the head of the heel piece to lock the ski brake. Activated by a simple move, this mechanism guarantees a safe use while improving the level of automatism of the bindings.

A new fully adjustable Freeride Spacer is available as an accessory and definitely closes the gap between the Free Touring and Free Ride categories, bringing precision and power transmission to the level of alpine race bindings.
