The ski’s construction reduces CO₂ emissions by 30% through the use of locally sourced poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and low-waste sidewalls. HRZN 3D – the next generation of the original HRZN – features a wide, three-dimensional tip that increases float in powder and variable snow, delivering a more intuitive, fluid skiing experience. The All-Terrain Profile uses a new natural wood-to-fiberglass ratio to increase torsional stiffness and deliver an improved flex pattern for added stability on hard snow.

The Kästle Tour 12 Pro touring binding is identical in construction to the ATK Raider 12 and is made for demanding ski tourers for whom weight is certainly an important factor, but who are not prepared to compromise on performance. 

The great expertise that ATK has developed in the race sector makes it possible to achieve a weight of only 330 grams, including the rear ski stoppers, which offer a great braking effect with surprisingly easy use and low weight.

Aditionally, an adjustable Freeride Spacer is available as an accessory and definitely closes the gap between the Free Touring and Free Ride categories by bringing precision and power transmission to the level of alpine racing bindings.

Cam Release System
ATK’s crown jewel of patented systems! Installed on the heel units, the CAM Release System enables precise step-in and vertical release during a fall. A pre-tensioned spring presses the CAM profile against the locking pins: during step-in or release, the pins follow the CAM profile, responding with a controlled resistance based on your preset release value.
A key advantage.

Elastic Response System
A spring is placed between the heel unit’s slider and the binding adjustment screw. If the ski flexes due to compression or a jump, the 4 mm gap between boot and heel unit can be fully compressed. The heel unit moves back and automatically returns when the pressure is released—thanks to the Elastic Response System.

The Atomic Skin is a premium PreFit skin for the Backland 85 ski, requiring no trimming. Made of 70% mohair mix for superior grip on the ascent, it’s extremely durable and long-lasting. With Hotmelt adhesive, this skin offers top performance in a variety of snow and weather conditions.
