---

The ski of choice for Atomic freeride athletes Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Nick McNutt, the Atomic Backland 107 offers versatile freeride touring performance in a wide and lightweight package.

At 107 mm, it's the widest freeride touring ski, but weight-optimized for easy climbing thanks to a full-length carbon backbone and Ultra Power Woodcore. The Powder Rocker and the revolutionary HRZN Tech in the shovel provide more surface area for maximum lift in deep snow. The Dura Cap Sidewall provides a smooth and stable ride on harder snow and allows you to ski with full confidence through coarse snow.

The Backland 107 touring ski pairs perfectly with Atomic's 100% mohair MultiFit skins for maximum performance on the mountain. Designed for big mountain skiers who ski big lines in big terrain.

Features:

Powder Rocker 20/70/10
Lots of rocker front and back, plus preload under the binding - for powder and variable snow.

HRZN Tech Tip & Tail
Upturned tip and tail: 10% more surface area for floatation, playfulness and low weight.

Directional Shape
Little to no rocker at the tail of the ski for better edge contact for more grip and stability.

Ultra Light Woodcore
Poplar and Karuba woodcore for skis with the perfect mix of light weight and top performance.

Carbon Backbone
Ultra-light carbon insert from tip to tail, stabilizing the ski like a backbone.

Fiberglass
Thanks to fiberglass layers, the ski rides harmoniously, stable and at the same time light and dynamic.

Dura Cap Sidewall
The sidewall from the base to the topsheet provides good edge grip and has a rounded shape that increases durability.

Glossy Topsheet
High gloss topsheet for a polished, glassy finish and a smooth, absolutely premium look.

Side edge angle: 87°
87° side edge angle - for intuitive handling, easy ride and better grip.

Base side edge angle: 1.0°
1.0° base side edge angle for easy turning, excellent edge grip and top tracking.

+ Fritschi Tecton 13 bindings

Carbon reinforced front and rear jaws make the Fritschi Tecton even more stable and durable. The proven Tecton freeride binding achieves the performance and safety of alpine bindings.

The Fritschi Tecton 13 impresses the powder fan not only with the best downhill performance. On the steepest slopes, it gives a secure hold and only releases when it really has to. It is just as strong on the ascent. The light weight and easy operation make all powder slopes effortlessly accessible.

Free Touring beyond limits: The exceptional alpine heel with rail is responsible for the direct power transmission from boot to ski, similar to an Alpine binding. Any unwanted release is prevented by the long dynamic path. The binding reliably releases at the DIN setting.

In the back, where the forces are highest, the Tecton remains as stable and precise as an alpine bind-ing. The hold-down system with a non-turning alpine heel jaw and the rail transmits the power directly from the boot to the ski without any loss.

The easy step-in and the intuitive control provide security, especially in challenging terrain. The right mix of light high-tech synthetics and high-quality metal alloys provides superior stability at a low weight.

Features:
• Alpine heel clamp with rail
• Lateral release at the front with DIN value adjustment and 13 mm dynamic travel for the toe of the shoe
• Frontal release at the rear with 9 mm dynamic travel for the heel
• Reliable release with 10 mm length compensation for the bent ski
• Easy access
• Intuitive operation
• Incl. color clips
