The ATK HY 13 Free Long Travel is a hybrid touring binding for freeriders and freeride tourers who want to climb under their own power while retaining a feel as close as possible to an alpine binding on the descent. The pin system is designed for the ascent, while the construction focuses on direct power transmission and precise control in downhill mode. The Long Travel version extends this concept with a wider adjustment range to accommodate a broader range of boot sole lengths.

In downhill mode, the ski boot sits flat on the ski, eliminating the difference in height between the toe and heel units typically found on conventional pin bindings. The Anti Friction Device at the toe piece can be adjusted to suit the respective compatible boot sole. For the ascent, the toe arms are rotated upwards. A negative walking position facilitates flat approaches, while two climbing aids are available for steeper sections.

Technology:
HY Brake System: The ski brake can be locked in walking mode. When switching to downhill mode, it is released via the rear lever.

Long Travel: The extended adjustment range allows the binding to accommodate a wider range of boot sole lengths.

Please note: the selected stopper size should be the next largest, based on the center width of the ski (example: center width 95 mm -> 100 mm stopper). The selection "Size" corresponds to the stopper width.
