Developed with feedback from experienced thru-hikers, the Beta SL Skirt by Arc’teryx offers ultra-lightweight, reliable weather protection for long treks and changeable conditions in the backcountry. When mist rolls in early in the morning or rain sets in on the trail, this waterproof skirt can be slipped on quickly – without the faff of dealing with rain trousers.

Thanks to its adjustable waistband, it fits flexibly over various layers, ensuring hassle-free protection whenever the weather takes a turn. Particularly practical: the packable Beta Skirt can not only be worn as rain protection, but can also be used on the go as an improvised groundsheet or pack cover.

The lightweight Gore-Tex ePE fabric provides reliable protection against rain and wind whilst remaining breathable, and contains no intentionally added PFAS – ideal for anyone who wants to stay fast, efficient and weatherproof on the trail.
