Note: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, yet just as robust and durable as the materials used previously. You may notice that the outer fabric “wets through” slightly faster on products with ePE membranes, but rest assured that this does not affect the membrane’s waterproofness. If you notice that the fabric gets damp faster than you’d like, simply wash and dry the pants to remove oil stains and fully restore the DWR.
