The Beta is Arcteryx's most versatile Gore-Tex shell. Made from durable 80D fabric with a lightweight, robust, and PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane, this jacket offers long-lasting waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection with a reduced carbon footprint.

The C-KNIT lining ensures comfort. The thin StormHood can be easily adjusted with a quick pull, offering additional protection without restricting your field of vision. The anatomically pre-shaped fit offers freedom of movement, while the integrated RECCO reflector helps with location in emergency situations.

Note: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as robust and durable as the materials used previously. You may notice that products with ePE membranes become damp more quickly, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself.

If you notice that the fabric gets wet faster than you would like, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil contamination and fully restore the DWR.
