This means that the company has acquired a certain amount of expertise in sustainability over many years, which can be found in its many products. A STORY WITH HEART AND PASSION

In 2008, friends Jérémy, Julien and Vincent joined forces and founded PICTURE. United by their passion for skateboarding, snowboarding and sustainability, the three Frenchmen develop a brand that stands for cool designs and ecological awareness. Driven by clear concepts and values, PICTURE quickly develops clothing made from recycled fabrics. Just a short time later, PICTURE was using leftover scraps of material for the lining of its jackets and developing the first snowboard and ski helmets made from 100% recycled fabrics. Today, PICTURE produces outdoor clothing, shirts, bags and much more. All as transparent and sustainable as possible, of course, just as the founders had planned from the start.

SAVE RESOURCES & OFFER SOLUTIONS

The textile industry also contributes to climate change. That's why PICTURE relies on fabrics that are organic, natural or at least recycled. For example, 92% of the cotton used by the brand is organically grown. The polyester used consists of 69% recycled bottles or organic polyester, which is obtained from sugar cane, and old fabric offcuts are also reused. PICTURE is trying to break new ground without compromising on quality. By combining organic and recycled fabrics, the brand manages to keep its ecological footprint relatively small.

PICTURE is a brand for men, women and childrenthat equips you not only for winter sports, but also for everyday life. Whether it's cool shirts made from organic cotton or a ski jacket made from circular polyester (i.e. polyester made from polyester and fabric remnants), PICTURE offers you functional clothing with a “green core”.

REPAIRING INSTEAD OF WASTING

However, PICTURE is not only trying to set a good example when it comes to Fabric. Since fall 2020, the brand has offered a lifetime repair guarantee on certain jackets and pants, midlayers and some sweaters. So if a button comes off, a zipper breaks or a seam bursts, PICTURE will take care of the repair, which is good for the environment. Instead of throwing away or replacing a broken item, repairing it saves important resources and protects the climate.
